About The Event

The Well Ordering Principle, the Principle of Mathematical Induction, and the Principle of Strong Induction are standard methods of proof, used throughout mathematics. In fact, there are proofs that can be done by any of the three methods with the method yielding the easiest proof usually being chosen. In our study, we explored how these methods of proof are, as a matter of fact, equivalent. That is, in theory, any statement proved using one of these , can be proved using any of these.
